Mr. Schenck is Founder and President of Global Initiatives, LLC, a minority-owned 8A Company specializing in the role of law enforcement in emergency management, hostage negotiations and kidnap & ransom response. He is a former Risk Solutions International emergency management consultant with over 30 years of law enforcement and security experience. His specialties include: global logistics (C-TPAT); vulnerability assessments; emergency response training and tabletop exercises; hostage negotiations and rescue. Mr. Schenck was Deputy Chief of Police for Huntsville, Alabama where he managed 633 personnel. He spent over twenty years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in various capacities. He was Unit Chief for Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) in the National Domestic Preparedness Office. While at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA he developed software used in crisis/hostage negotiation (HOBAS and LENS). In addition, he managed 17 national and international hostage/kidnapping incidents and conducted threat/risk assessments for national organizations and international governments. He deployed operationally to intervene in crisis incidents in Jordan, Israel, Peru, Colombia, and the Philippines. As an Assistant Inspector and Field Agent, Mr. Schenck was a member of the JTTF-NJ and assisted in the investigation of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Prior to the FBI, he was a Patrolman and Detective in Englewood, NJ. He has many certifications and memberships including the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE), American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP). He received his BA in Criminology from William Patterson University and his M.Ed. from Seton Hall.
