Jon Bosco is a founding partner and managing director of eDelta Consulting, a professional services firm focused on financial, operational and technology risk management. For more than 15 years, Jon has focused on risk management in several major industries, including financial services, retail, manufacturing and entertainment. He works closely with boards of directors and senior management teams to identify risks and implement effective risk mitigation and control programs. His client experience includes multiple Fortune 500 companies and spans operational areas such as Internal Audit, Information Technology, Information Security and Continuity of Operations. With a specialty in technology risk, Jon routinely oversees major projects in Technology and Organizational Risk Assessment, Technology Strategic Planning, Disaster Recovery Planning, Information Security Program Development and Vulnerability/Threat Assessment. His personal and professional experience surrounding the World Trade Center bombing has given him a unique perspective on preparedness and the interrelationships of people, facilities, and technology. Jon is a frequent speaker on issues as diverse as Sarbanes Oxley, Privacy (Gramm-Leach-Bliley and HIPPA), Information Security, and Disaster Recovery. He has expert knowledge of technology challenges and the associated impact of regulatory and compliance issues for major corporations. Jon is a Certified Public Accountant, a Member of the Board of Director of the Information Security Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and an active member of Information Systems Security Association (ISSA). He holds a bachelors degree in Computer Science and Masters in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany.
